From the guidelines given by Brighton Festival, we agreed that there was a strong emphasis on showing the bond between the Brighton community. I think that the video should create a sense of togetherness in order to encourage the audience to volunteer. Justyna came up with the idea of connecting the volunteers by using an object such as a ball. Each person will hold the ball and explain their roles and experiences. The shots will connect to each other as it will look like the volunteers are passing the balls between each other. An example of this is shown in the video below, in the opening sequence to Lizzie McGuire:
I think it would be a good idea if the ball had the ball or object had the Brighton Festival logo on it so that it be clear to the audience what the brand is. We will film on location, in various places within Brighton, for example on the beach and places that the festival had occurred.
We will make the video fun, unique and engaging. We make sure to stick to their colour scheme, mostly using Blue and Green colours. Our aim is to promote the festival and volunteering itself.
