Slide 1
This quote represents our ongoing theme. We want to show
visuals of things that we believe Brighton couldn’t be without. Furthermore we
would express that Brighton Festival couldn’t be what it is without volunteers.
Slide 2
We want to incorporate iconic Brighton visuals e.g.
fish and chips and the pier. These are things that are familiar to the local
community. We would like to make Brighton seem as exciting as possible in order
to engage and inspire audience. This would also connect the volunteers to the
Brighton community.
Slide 3
Celebration of art: we’ll create something visually and
aesthetically artistic. Moreover we’ll include visuals of Brighton’s art scene
including graffiti, buskers, and the festival itself.
Heart felt and original: We’ll show young groups of people,
having a good time, in Brighton's iconic locations. This will evoke feeling as people in the community will be
able to relate to it.
Community: This is the main point from the brief that we’ll
focus on. We’ll also make Brighton seem closely connected. As a volunteer you
will become a part of the community, our video would make the audience instinctively
want to become a part of it.
Spirit and diversity of Brighton: Brighton’s a small place
but with so much happening. We know Brighton Festival is featured in various
locations so we must show this. We will also feature the eccentric people that
exist within the community.
Slide 4
Paint a picture to visualise Brighton like a puzzle, each
shot will represent a different piece of the puzzle. Coming back to the idea that Brighton festival can't be without these things.
Slide 5
Beginning: We will create a montage style comparing Brighton to it's most iconic visuals
Slide 6-martina
Middle: footage of the festival and interviews with the volunteers. We will make sure that the volunteers answer the questions that you had given us in the brief:
"Why volunteer? What is the value of volunteering with the Festival? Who can volunteer? What is the experience?"
Slide 7-martina
End: To wrap up we will outline how to get involved with contact info. Our finishing slogan will be "We can't have Brighton Festival without you. Be part of something great."
Slide 8-mol
We’ll use vibrant colours, perhaps edit the exposure and adjust how vivid the shots appear on screen. This complies with your brand ethic as the festival is closely associated with colour. We would like to make the visuals seem as dynamic as Brighton is.
Include cutaway shots of Brighton and archive footage of the festival to capture the buzzing atmosphere and to set the scene.
We would like to be professional and experimental. Making use of close ups. including establishing shots of each location.
We will use a few silhouette shots to show the humanity and how the community are integrated within the shot.
Slide 9: bry
Sound: We'll use voice overs uttering our slogan "We can't have Brighton Festival without you".
We will also use dialogue from each volunteer as they explain their roles and experiences.
In terms of music we would like to use a song that is quite upbeat and fresh. Hopefully we can find one that is copyright free.
Slide 10: justyna
Shooting Locations: we looked at the places that the festival takes place in and picked the ones that were the most visually appealing
