Editing to Client Feedback

The screenshot above shows how I added titles to the video following the client's wishes. I made sure to use the correct colour as shown in the Brighton Festival logo. I also cut out a lot of footage since the video was originally nearly 5 minutes long, and the client wanted it to be between 2-3 minutes. I managed to cut it down to 2.43 minutes. This reduced a lot of unnecesarry rambles and just stuck to the key points. Peter suggested that I keep it short and snappy. This will also be useful so that the audience don't zone out half way through the video.

I am going home for Christmas now so I won't be able to edit any more for a couple of weeks. There a still a few minor details that need to be changed in the video:
  • Perhaps add sound effects of beach and seagull to the beginning at is sounds very quiet. Or increase the volume of the soundtrack
  • At 0:15 seconds the volume decreases abruptly. We could maybe add some background noise from where Hannah stops talking.
  • At 0:22 could add another cutaway from the festival
  • 0:33 cut down the text as it's way too long to read
  • 0:57 we need to change these cutaways as the client said they're too much like Brighton Fringe
  • 1:48 change this cutaway as it looks a bit random. Could use one of the volunteers instead
