Meeting with the dome

I had scheduled a meeting for our group to have a look around Brighton Dome today to get ideas of where we would like to film. Unfortunately I could not attended the session as I had another class at the same time that I could not miss. I hoped that the other four people in the group would be able to go.  Sadly three members let the team down and left Molly to go alone to the venue. This frustrated me as I feel like it made our group look unreliable and unprofessional. If I didn't have another class I definitely would have gone, which I already made clear to the client.

Molly took pictures of the places in the dome that we could film.

Concert Hall:

I think it would look good to film from above so that more of the location could be included in the shot. Maybe we could have the interviewee standing against the ledge with the stage shown in the background.

Dressing Room:

It would be great to film here to show how the volunteers get further access to places a person wouldn't usually get to see. This could be shot with a younger volunteer.

Stairs area:

This location would be great to show the stunning architecture inside the Dome. We could include close up cutaway shots around this area. We could also film here with an older volunteer.

The feedback Molly received from the client is that they don't like the idea for our introduction. We shouldn't focus so much on Brighton. She said that we're can still use our footage of Brighton as long as we connect it to volunteers work within the community.
