So the pitch aimed to show the client, Brighton Festival, what our idea was. We
had to sell our idea to the best of our ability making sure that we sounded
confident. We made sure that our presentation was clear and with enough detailed information on it. We made sure to practice so that we all knew what we were saying. Some members of the group were a bit nervous about it so we decided to slip the presentation so that we all spoke on approximately two slides each.
In our pitch we included research such as the locations that the festival took place. We decided it would be a good idea to film in some of those places but the ones that are most iconic and look engaging. For example we took the idea that the festival occurs in Komedia and decided to film outside there and show some of the lanes as it always has people there and is always busy. This would look engaging and exciting for the audience.
Once I was
assigned as team leader I was able to take more responsibility in organising
the group.
It made me realise that sometimes you can’t just sit back and let everyone
do what they want. A group leader is needed to encourage everyone to
get involved and motivated and organised. In this role I will make sure that everyone knows what they’re
doing and when.
